It’s 108 degrees outside. I sit inside, under cover of intense air conditioning… watching heat lines rise from the concrete a few feet away, hearing the not-so-distant drums of global warming thudding in my sub-conscious, and I think GREEN (but in a good way). Not that long ago “being green” meant inexperienced and now it means “environmentally savvy.” My advice, stay cool… think GREEN… watch Living With Ed… buy a Prius… and for Godssakes get out of the SUN! That thing will KILL you. As for the picture above — you’ll never guess: This fountain forms the entrance to the … Continue reading

Well, we read each others stuff… find and gently point out mistakes… share information… and when our friends get published we BUY their books! Would it surprise you to learn that this proliferation pales when compared to C.S.I. classes in our nations … Continue reading

Here’s the real truth: If there was anything I could do that came close to the feeling of what it’s like to accept a writing assignment (sometimes cash up front, sometimes on delivery, sadly sometimes never). And then to sit down and break that assignment into the required steps (on deadline) with the purpose that these steps will ultimately be distilled down into a unique pattern of WORDS, (plagerism not allowed) formed, married together and printed out in a particular way, to create an end product… (in my case novel, cartoon episode, comic book, movie, review… whatever). IF there was … Continue reading
