Here you will find musings about the writing process… my own, as well as the process of others. I love learning how various authors manage to run the gauntlet of their careers. I seriously can’t get enough. These are stories of bravery and perseverance in the face of paralyzing fear and rejection. I collect them like charms on a cosmic bracelet in the hope that when a soul-sucking new writing-dragon raises its head and threatens to incinerate my confidence — or my career — which are basically intertwined, one of these great stories that I have collected will be just the thing to lift me up and inspire me to slay that dragon and get my ass back to work.

If you are a writer, you have my love… my admiration… my sympathy. We are comrades-in-arms. And, by the way, what are you doing here reading blog posts anyway — aren’t you supposed to be writing?

Feel free to ping me on twitter @Scarbo_author  if you need a kick in the tush to get back to work… I’m probably already there #writeravoidance.

Writing talk will abound here — the magic parts as well as the tragic parts. (Credit: Jimmy Buffett for that line.) And, I’ll throw social media for authors on the pile… along with things writers should never say in social media… again, what could go wrong?

Let me know what you’d like to discuss.
